The ‘Bayanihan Caravan’ led by Senator Alan Peter Cayetano provided much-needed medical assistance to grateful residents of Luzon. Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the financial aid and treatment support they received, which alleviated their burdens and improved their quality of life. The caravan distributed medical, livelihood, and burial aid to thousands of individuals in Baguio, Manila, and San Pascual in Batangas. In Baguio City, over 800 individuals received medical assistance, while more than 300 small business owners were supported through the “Sari-saring Pag-asa Program” to promote business growth. In Manila, 600 displaced and unemployed individuals were provided with emergency employment opportunities, and in Batangas, medical and burial assistance was given to nearly 500 residents. The successful distribution of assistance was made possible through collaborative efforts with local government officials and various government agencies.
