Senator Honteveros, Pangilinan visit flood-stricken Naujan

NAUJAN, Oriental Mindoro — Senator Risa Honteveros and former senator Kiko Pangilinan arrived to conduct relief operations to flood-hit barangays here.

They first visited Barangay Andres Ylagan in February 2 where they were greeted by Barangay Captain Eric Alzate, one of the hardest hit due to perennial floods brought by the Amihan and Shear line.

Boarding by helicopter, they first landed at BarangayEstrella where they were greeted by Naujan police chief P/Lt. Colonel Nonato P. Banania, Jr. and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) head Inspector Carmela C. Serrano.

They were later greeted by Mayor Henry Joel C. Teves and Vice Mayor Great delos Reyes together with the councilors. Congressman Alfonso V. Umali, Jr. was also present.
